Over the past few years the ski trip has played a big part of a lot of students fun and social at Bath Uni, attracting 240 students plus a waiting list. This fun is guaranteed to continue on this year's trip taking place from

Tignes 2006!!!
Dec 15th- Dec 23rd

Tignes is an outstanding resort situated in the heart of the French Alpes. It is served by one of the largest ski areas in the world, L'Espace Killy. Included in the price is a lift pass which allows you to ski in Val D'Isere, bringing the total length of pistes to over 300km.

Travel
We travel by coaches with pickup points from Bath, London and Dover. The coaches are air-conditioned with a DVD player and a toilet. Over the past few years we did a stop at a French hypermarket to stock up on the essentials. For the first time this year we are offering a return flight.

Accommodation
Everyone on the trip will stay in the same set of apartments with the location allowing us to 'ski out and ski in'. The room sizes vary from 4 to 8 people with a bathroom and a small kitchen. Last year there was a fold up table just perfect for a nice game of 'ring of fire'.

Nightlife
Some nights of the trip we have themed nights out causing havoc on the Mountains bars and clubs. Previous highlights of themes include; retro, the Underground, Bling Bling, the Beach (check out the gallery). The bars have made very generous drink offers in the past to ensure the night goes ahead with a storm. But beware with the boys and the microphone, we never know when 'you've lost that loving feeling' will be serenaded to an innocent fresher... There's plenty of other things to do instead of killing your liver in style, even those claiming to be hard core generally need a night off. Examples of things to do include swimming, ice-skating, scaduing etc, we will bring out more details when the trip draws closer.

Valley Rally
A day of debauchery. There are four posts across the mountain, each with a different challenge. In teams of four-six you, in fancy dress, participate in these challenges to gain maximum points to win. On Val Thoren 2006 we had over 40 teams participating. Previous challenges have included the clothes swap, body paint, the alternative apple bobbing and whipped cream. We won't tell you anymore, wouldn't want to ruin the surprise... Will reigning champions Team Gash be the first team to win two years running?
